The Uncluttered Refresh

The tropical leaf pillow in the entry way was the inspiration for this design with the flowing palms leaves, blues of the ocean, and beige and creams like the sand. To give the design that tropical breezy feel, I incorporated soft greens, blues, warm wood tones, and creams in the design. Reusing existing pieces of furniture and décor from the space add to the character of this design, like the marble lamps, green fabrics, and beautiful vintage wooden pieces gives the space warmth.

As you walk into this space, the first design element is the addition of a floral wallpaper with a round gold mirror to give a point of interest and a warm and welcoming feel. In the living room, a focal point is created with a grasscloth wallpaper to the one wall that will be highlighted by the vintage wooden side table, the 2 chairs along with the vintage marble lamps. The décor in the living room and the dining room will be accented with gold wall décor, beautiful wooden trays, and other table décor pieces with blues, creams, and greens. The use of the existing décor pieces will also add to the design elements.
